Georgia Tunioli (she/her) is the Community Engagement Manager for The Bay Foundation, a nonprofit working to restore and enhance Santa Monica Bay and its watershed in Los Angeles, California. Georgia’s work is grounded in supporting initiatives and partnerships that reduce waste, advance stewardship, and further The Bay Foundation’s mission.
Georgia is excited about interdisciplinary action that brings harmony to humans, animals, and plants. With 10 years of experience in advocacy, communications, and education, her passion has rippled out in many spaces: from studying whale migration in the Santa Monica Bay, planting seedlings and mixing compost tea at Paradise Valley Produce, rolling out marketing for Harmless Harvest’s southern California launch, organizing clear air and anti-fracking campaigns with the Center for Biological Diversity, managing communications for TheKindLife.com, and producing The Plastic Plague podcast series with SoCal 350’s EcoJustice Radio.
She has a B.S. in Environmental Science and B.A. in International Relations with a
concentration in sustainable development from the University of Redlands.
